Associate, Store Merchandising

Summary

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations including processing inbound product, placement, maintenance and order fulfillment under the supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. This role requires strong computer skills, physical ability to handle merchandise, and flexibility to work varied schedules to meet store needs.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise according to visual standards
• Maintain merchandise placement and presentation on the selling floor
• Assist with floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate merchandise within the store and fulfill customer orders
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
• Operate RF guns, PCs, iOS devices and other proprietary platforms for merchandising tasks
• Perform ad hoc store initiatives and other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and handling racks and carts of merchandise
• Ability to learn and maintain visual merchandising standards
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and inventory technologies
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team oriented environment with minimal supervision
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs require
• Consistently meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks
• Valid driver license and ability to drive company vehicle as required
