Job Description

Summary

As an Associate Store Merchandising at SFA in Chevy Chase, you will support the daily operations of merchandise, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment. You will work under the leadership of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Process inbound merchandise and ensure proper placement and presentation on the selling floor.
  • Maintain standards in placement and presentation as directed.
  • Participate in other store initiatives as required, including merchandise fill-in, floor recovery, and supply replenishment during peak business periods.
  • Locate requested merchandise within the store and complete customer orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise, lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use available technology (RF guns, PC, iOS device, Excel/Word, and various proprietary platforms).
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule as per business needs and adhere to dependability standards.
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed in accordance with state Driver’s License standards (select doors only).
