Associate Store Merchandising

Summary

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations including processing, placement, maintenance and fulfillment under the supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. This role requires physical handling of merchandise, use of technology for inventory tasks, and flexible scheduling to meet store needs.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise to maintain visual standards
• Participate in floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate requested merchandise and complete customer orders
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly address customer needs
• Use RF guns, PC, iOS devices and proprietary platforms for merchandising tasks
• Assist with other store initiatives and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
• Drive company vehicle when needed following state licensing standards

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and visual presentation
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision
• Dependable with flexibility to work varied schedules per business needs
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks
• Effective communication skills and ability to build interpersonal relationships
• Willingness to learn and retain store merchandising procedures
