Associate Technician

As an Associate Technician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and assembling lenses for various AR treatments, ensuring adherence to established procedures and production standards. You will work in a dynamic environment that values technology and innovation, contributing to the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry.

• Prepare vacuum equipment and ensure proper operating conditions for the vacuum coating machine.
• Sort lenses for necessary coating applications based on SOPs.
• Follow SOPs for the coating process, including cleaning, mounting, and batch preparation.
• Load lenses and materials for evaporation and operate the vacuum machine to maintain continuous flow.
• Communicate equipment conditions and process updates to the supervisor.
• Unload the vacuum coating machine and perform spectro-analysis on batches using the SMR system.

• Job experience may substitute for a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to meet measurable standards in a production environment.
• Attention to detail, precision, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to walk/stand for the full duration of the shift and perform repetitive movements.
• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly.
