Summary
Support the Manager of Visual Merchandising to implement brand strategies and US visual directives across North America with a focus on the West Coast. Conduct store visits, adapt global visual direction for regional needs, and coordinate seasonal window and in-store visual implementations while collaborating with retail, wholesale, store development, merchandising, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising changes for the West Coast region and partner with store managers and regional directors to meet guidelines and deadlines.
- Conduct weekly store visits including wholesale locations to ensure VM standards and maintenance are upheld.
- Manage implementation of seasonal windows and in-store visuals and coordinate with vendors and local contractors.
- Compile and review VM planograms and weekly store photos and provide feedback to ensure consistency with visual standards.
- Provide seasonal visual standards and guideline presentation training to stores and new hires.
- Support new store openings and renovations to align product needs with VM timelines.
- Support execution of regional projects, retail events, showroom setups, and wholesale commercial showroom displays.
- Identify local VM opportunities to support regional needs through compelling displays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Design, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising in a fashion retail environment.
- Strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet fluctuating deadlines.
- Excellent taste across merchandising, styling, fixture design, and store layout.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with domestic and international teams.
- Ability to travel monthly to West Coast and Central regions and as needed across North America including Canada and Mexico.
