Summary
This role maintains the brand image within the boutique and elevates the client experience by supporting visual displays and the selling team. The Associate reports to the Boutique Director with a dotted line to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager and works full-time in-store providing hands-on support for merchandising, displays, and events.
Responsibilities
- Change mannequins, replenish and substitute merchandise on the selling floor to expedite the selling process
- Serve as point of contact for the boutique when VM Lead is unavailable, including during weekends and corporate holidays
- Support operations with product preparation for floor moves, collection launches, and event installations
- Update and maintain digital photo files and documentation of window items (SKU, price, size) for the selling team
- Assist with implementation of events, sales, seasonal installs, and other business-driving initiatives
- Communicate with boutique selling team and management and work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience and basic knowledge of retail operations, display, and merchandising
- Experience with basic computer software and digital photography; ability to update digital files
- Minimum associate degree, preferably in a fashion-related major
- Ability to work on a ladder and lift 30 - 40 lb; able to move items up to 25 lb
- Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays; full-time in-store presence required
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a passion for client experience; foreign language skills preferred
