Assortment Planner - Designer Women's Shoes

As an Assortment Planner in the Designer Women's Shoes division, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, margin, and turn targets by creating customer-centric supplier plans. This hybrid role requires working in the Seattle office at least three days a week, collaborating closely with Buyers and cross-functional partners to achieve financial objectives.

• Reconcile merchandise financial, supplier, and assortment plans to ensure alignment with product and customer strategies.
• Direct analysis to enhance the depth and precision of purchasing decisions.
• Manage inventory in season, making informed decisions on analysis, markdowns, claims, and re-orders.
• Collaborate with Buyers and partners on business reviews, open-to-buy management, and plan revisions.
• Teach and motivate direct reports to excel in planning assortments and quantifying purchases.

• 4+ years of experience as a multichannel/omni-channel retail merchandise Planner or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of retail and Nordstrom's service environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Preferred experience in managing high sales volume categories.
• Strong analytical, math, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
