Job Description

Summary

As an Atelier Coordinator at Marc Jacobs in SoHo, New York City, you will play a crucial role in supporting the atelier team by preparing trim packages, scanning and cutting patterns, and updating patterns on a hard drive. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the atelier by preparing cut ticket packages and setting up sewing trials.

Responsibilities

Prepare trim packages.
Scan and cut patterns.
Update patterns on a hard drive.
Prepare cut ticket packages for sewers and factories.
Shorten zippers for trim packages.
Set up thread and sewing trials.
Set up charts for production.
Order and set up meals.
Utilize knowledge of sewing construction and pattern making.
Multitask and understand urgency.

Requirements

Available 7 days a week with long hours.
1+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
