Job Description

Summary

As an Atelier Coordinator at Marc Jacobs in SoHo, New York City, you will play a crucial role in supporting the atelier team by preparing trim packages, scanning and cutting patterns, and updating patterns on a hard drive. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the atelier by preparing cut ticket packages and setting up sewing trials.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare trim packages.
  • Scan and cut patterns.
  • Update patterns on a hard drive.
  • Prepare cut ticket packages for sewers and factories.
  • Shorten zippers for trim packages.
  • Set up thread and sewing trials.
  • Set up charts for production.
  • Order and set up meals.
  • Utilize knowledge of sewing construction and pattern making.
  • Multitask and understand urgency.
Requirements
  • Available 7 days a week with long hours.
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
