Barista

As a Barista at Ralph Lauren Coffee in Manhasset, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt service and adherence to company standards.

• Greet customers, take orders, and process transactions efficiently.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications.
• Serve prepared foods and pastries with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable store environment.
• Communicate effectively with the store manager and team members.
• Respond to customer needs with urgency and a positive attitude.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly and follow sanitation regulations.
• Recommend new menu items based on customer feedback.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position.
• NYC Food Handler’s Certification required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Passion for coffee and hospitality.
• Outgoing and energetic disposition with a polished presence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with various POS systems preferred.
