Barista - Robertson

Summary

Part Time Barista for a West Hollywood cafe location responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing specialty coffee and tea, and representing the brand. The role requires a quick learner with specialty coffee experience and a customer-focused attitude. This is a hands-on cafe position involving front of house and back of house duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee, tea and other menu items to company standards
• Demonstrate mastery of the cafe menu and specialty coffee concepts
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build rapport with regulars
• Perform back of house prep including bulk drink bases and cold brew
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
• Deliver orders to tables, clean dishes and bus tables
• Adhere to loss prevention, security and cash handling policies
• Receive and verify inventory and perform other store duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year experience in a fast paced specialty coffee environment
• Strong coffee knowledge and willingness to educate customers
• Outgoing, friendly and confident customer service demeanor
• Physical ability to stand long periods, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
• California food handlers card required
