Summary
The Bartender will deliver a refined beverage experience by preparing cocktails, wine, spirits, and coffee while guiding guests through beverage selections in an elevated hospitality setting. This role supports the RH Aspen Mountain House Gallery and Restaurant opening in Winter 2026 and requires polished, luxury service and collaboration with the location team. The position emphasizes consistency, presentation, and attentive guest engagement across all beverage offerings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver First Class Service that reflects RH’s hospitality standards.
- Prepare and present cocktails, wine, spirits, and coffee with consistent quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Adhere to RH recipes and service standards to uphold quality and consistency.
- Engage guests with informed recommendations on beverage offerings and pairings.
- Maintain cleanliness, curation, and organization of the bar, storage areas, and service spaces.
- Stock, replenish, and rotate bar inventory, including bottles, mixers, glassware, and garnishes.
- Support service flow by anticipating needs, clearing service items, and assisting team members.
- Partner with location leadership to perform beverage inventory and contribute to service and financial goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in beverage production or service, including knowledge of wine, coffee, and/or cocktails.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and meet the minimum legal age to serve alcohol and perform role duties.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
- Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, uniform, grooming, and hygiene.
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods and safely ascend/descend stairs while carrying service items.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and follow safety and sanitation practices.
