Summary

The Beauty Advisor builds long-lasting client relationships to drive sales, service and brand loyalty. This commission-based in-store role focuses on exceeding personal and brand sales targets while delivering expert product knowledge, clienteling and event support. The advisor also supports merchandising, store initiatives and vendor education to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed personal and brand sales goals
• Acquire new clients, develop existing customers and build a loyal personal client base
• Share expert product knowledge and participate in brand and store education sessions
• Support brand initiatives including event execution, assortment recommendations and marketing opportunities
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and other sales support tasks
• Communicate with clients via phone, mail and electronic methods and resolve customer service issues

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of two years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets and prior luxury retail sales preferred
• Collaborative team player able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
• Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands
