Beauty Advisor

Summary

The Beauty Advisor develops deep, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales, service and loyalty within a luxury retail environment. Compensation includes hourly base pay plus commission tied to sales results. The role requires delivering expert product knowledge, client communication, event support and visual merchandising. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed personal and brand sales targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition, development and retention
• Share expert product knowledge with the store selling team and attend brand education sessions
• Support brand sales through event execution, marketing opportunities and assortment recommendations
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and related sales support tasks
• Communicate regularly with personal clients regarding events, merchandise requests and sales follow-up
• Resolve customer service issues and partner with selling management when escalation is required
• Ensure compliance with privacy policies and cyber security measures

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum two years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets in a retail setting
• Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands
• Prior luxury retail sales experience preferred
• Highly collaborative, able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
• Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
