Beauty Advisor

Summary

The Beauty Advisor develops long-lasting client relationships and delivers personalized beauty consultations to drive brand sales and exceed service goals. This commission-based role focuses on expert product knowledge, clienteling, and supporting brand initiatives in a luxury retail environment. The Advisor participates in education, events, and in-store merchandising to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary service and personalized beauty consultations to customers.
• Achieve and exceed personal and brand sales targets and performance goals.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through acquisition, outreach, and follow-up.
• Share expert product knowledge and attend vendor and internal educational sessions.
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks.
• Support brand marketing activities and event execution; communicate opportunities to store management.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commission-based retail sales environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets with strong clienteling and relationship-building skills.
• Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior luxury retail experience preferred; highly collaborative and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
