Summary
The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, building individual and vendor line sales, maintaining customer relationships, supporting in-house training and events, and ensuring a well merchandised counter while proficiently closing retail sales using the company clienteling system.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service from approach through closing the sale and follow up
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals and event sales targets
- Build and maintain customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative
- Use the online clienteling tool to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Participate in pre booked facial consultation events and in house training programs
- Maintain counter standards ensuring a clean tidy and welcoming selling area
- Work collaboratively with team members and liaise with Account Executive to support business goals
- Demonstrate professional make up and treatment consultation and application
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in a cosmetics environment
- Proven sales performance with history of exceeding quota
- Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment with multitasking
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools and software
- Strong interpersonal skills with professional communication and diplomacy
- Attention to detail with initiative and sound business judgment
- Ability to work independently to drive personal sales business
