Summary
The Beauty Advisor provides an elevated client experience through personalized consultations, product knowledge, and service offerings to drive cosmetic sales and grow client relationships. This role uses clienteling tools and social media to build business and supports department standards and events.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic sales goals and department daily and monthly targets
- Provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications
- Ask questions to identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Actively use social media to grow personal brand and business
- Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Cross sell across product lines to increase basket size
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming counter space
- Represent the brand and serve as a liaison with account executives
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience in the beauty industry
- Proven sales experience with a record of achieving or exceeding goals
- Comfort using technology, online clienteling tools, and social media platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide professional makeup applications and consultations
- Customer service orientation with focus on building client relationships
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
