Beauty Advisor

Summary

The Beauty Advisor provides personalized customer service and expert beauty consultations while building client relationships and driving individual and vendor sales. The role also supports department sales goals and maintains a welcoming, well-merchandised counter.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual, vendor, event, and department sales goals.
• Build customer relationships and provide expert product advice, makeup application, and treatment consultations.
• Use clienteling tools to maintain customer information and preferences, and follow up with clients.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling area.
• Work collaboratively with team members and serve as a liaison to the designated Account Executive.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated sales success, including exceeding quota.
• Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, organizational ability, and business judgment.
