The Beauty Advisor delivers an elevated client experience by providing personalized beauty consultations, product recommendations, and professional application services to achieve individual and department sales goals. This role requires strong sales drive, familiarity with beauty services and tools, and use of clienteling technology and social media to grow business.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients to identify needs and provide tailored product and service recommendations
• Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic and event sales goals and contribute to department targets
• Perform professional make up and treatment consultations and applications
• Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
• Actively grow personal brand and business through social media activity
• Cross sell across product lines to increase basket size
• Maintain clean and inviting counter standards and provide a dynamic service presence
• Collaborate with team members and Account Executives to support client relationships
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience in the beauty industry
• Proven sales success achieving or exceeding goals
• Comfortable using social media and technology for clienteling
• Working knowledge of beauty services, products, and application techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to adapt styles
• Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software
• Customer focused with a professional and positive service presence
