Summary
Provide exceptional customer service on the cosmetics counter by building customer relationships, driving individual and vendor line sales, and executing professional make up and treatment consultations. Work under the Cosmetics Selling Manager to maintain counter standards, participate in training and events, and use clienteling tools to grow personal business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and deliver a high level of personalized service from approach to sale and follow up
- Achieve and exceed individual vendor line sales goals and department sales objectives
- Conduct make up and treatment consultations and applications
- Maintain a clean, tidy and properly merchandised counter
- Use online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Participate in pre booked facial consultation events and in house training programs
- Build and maintain customer relationships and establish new Saks accounts
- Collaborate with team members and liaise with designated Account Executive
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in a cosmetics or customer focused environment
- Proven sales track record with experience exceeding quota
- Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment with strong multi tasking skills
- Proficiency or willingness to learn proprietary online clienteling tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with sound business judgment and organizational ability
- Attention to detail and initiative with ability to work independently to drive business
- Professional make up and treatment consultation and application skills
