Job Description

Summary

As a Beauty Counter Manager at Beachwood Place, you will be a key player in the Nordstrom Beauty Department, creating personalized beauty experiences and maximizing sales for your assigned beauty brand. You will engage with customers both in-store and digitally, fostering a welcoming environment and building a loyal customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on customer goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools.
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to enhance business results.
  • Ensure department is customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
  • Stay updated on beauty trends and industry knowledge through provided trainings.
  • Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and promote Nordstrom Rewards program.
Requirements
  • Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup, and skincare.
  • Excellent customer connection skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Empathy and respect for all customers during beauty applications.
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Drive to achieve sales goals with networking and technology interest.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
