Manage a beauty counter delivering personalized makeup and skincare services, drive sales through in-store and digital channels, and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer needs
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to support business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build loyalty
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and aptitude for using technology and networking
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously stand and perform physical tasks including bending and lifting up to 25 pounds
