The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand. This role blends clienteling, makeup and skincare consultation, and sales leadership on the counter to build customer relationships and drive results through in-store and digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products tailored to customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support business results
- Maintain counter organization and cleanliness to keep department customer-ready
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges while enrolling customers in the rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer experience
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, including makeup application and skincare knowledge
- Strong customer service and ability to connect with customers
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort working in a commissioned sales environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
