Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experience for an assigned luxury beauty brand at the store counter, combining product knowledge, makeup application and digital selling to build customer loyalty and drive results. This role manages vendor events and collaborates with the beauty team to maintain a welcoming, organized counter while meeting personal and counter sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer beauty goals
- Drive personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and assist customers with loyalty program enrollment
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness and customer-ready presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, including makeup application and skincare
- Strong ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns professionally
- Excellent multitasking, organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
