The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty services and drives sales for an assigned luxury brand within the store. This role balances selling and teaching through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and digital and in-store customer engagement while managing vendor events and maintaining the counter presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Provide excellent customer service and build a customer following in-store and digitally
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open customer rewards accounts
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
