Job Description

Summary

Manage and drive sales for an assigned beauty brand on the counter while delivering personalized makeup and skincare experiences. Act as a salesperson and educator, building customer relationships in-store and through digital tools, and support vendor events and promotions to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products.
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media.
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results.
  • Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Keep the counter organized, clean, and customer ready.
  • Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings.

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty including makeup application and skincare.
  • Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns.
  • Empathy and respect for all customers during services.
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills.
  • Drive to achieve sales goals and aptitude for using networking and technology.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
