Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and service for an assigned luxury beauty brand, delivering personalized makeup and skincare experiences while teaching and coaching customers and team members. This role balances sales performance with vendor collaboration and upkeep of a customer-ready counter at the Houston Galleria location.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in loyalty program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and inventory presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort working in a commission environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
