Job Description

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand. This role balances sales and education through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and digital selling to build customer relationships and achieve counter goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital tools
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
  • Process sales, refunds, and exchanges while growing customer loyalty
  • Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
  • Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Utilize text and social media to engage and grow customer following

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty, including makeup application and skincare
  • Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
  • Empathy and respect during close personal services like makeup application
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through
  • Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Experience in commissioned sales environments is preferred
