Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for the assigned beauty brand. This role combines customer-focused selling and education, helping customers meet their makeup and skincare goals while building lasting relationships in-store and digitally.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products suited to customer goals.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Schedule and execute vendor events and promotions, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Keep the department organized and customer-ready, and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Collaborate with team members and stay current on beauty products, trends, and industry knowledge.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, customer service, makeup application, and skincare.
• Ability to connect with customers, address concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and sales goal achievement skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
