Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for the assigned brand. This role combines customer service, beauty product education, and counter business management in a commissioned retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications, skincare analyses, and tailored product recommendations.
• Set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Coordinate vendor events and promotions, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Keep the department organized and customer-ready, build customer loyalty, and support Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, customer service, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to achieve sales goals, connect with customers, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain active throughout shifts, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
