Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer beauty goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
