The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for an assigned luxury beauty brand at a retail counter, combining product knowledge, makeup and skincare application skills, and sales coaching to drive results. This role requires creating personalized beauty services, managing vendor events, and maintaining counter presentation while working in a commissioned sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty including opening new rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
