The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for a women's fragrance counter, combining selling and teaching to drive results. Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Recruit and build customer loyalty by opening new rewards accounts
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and knowledge of beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
