The Beauty Counter Manager is a sales focused leader who creates personalized beauty experiences, maximizes counter sales, and fosters customer loyalty through in store and digital engagement. This role combines hands on makeup and skincare application with vendor relationship management and event execution at the assigned beauty brand counter.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open customer rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends based on business needs
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to be on feet and perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
