The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences and maximizes sales for an assigned luxury brand at a department store counter. Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Keep counter and department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Handle sales, refunds, exchanges and enroll customers in rewards programs
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Use networking and technology to build and maintain a customer following
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and handling merchandise
- Ability to lift items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
