The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences, driving sales for an assigned luxury brand while coaching and educating customers and team members. This role blends sales, product knowledge, and event management to build customer loyalty both in-store and digitally. The manager is responsible for maintaining a customer-ready counter and strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support business results
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open new rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
