The Beauty Counter Manager performs sales and teaching duties to maximize brand performance at the counter, delivering personalized beauty services and building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. This role manages vendor events, maintains counter presentation, and drives sales through networking and technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses recommending products to meet customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new rewards program accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through provided trainings
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology for sales
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Capacity for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
