The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and service at an assigned beauty brand within the store, delivering personalized makeup and skincare experiences, teaching customers techniques, and driving results through in-store and digital selling. This role balances selling, customer education, and counter management while collaborating with team members and vendor partners to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new customer accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Keep the counter organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty, including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and using technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
