Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager maximizes sales and provides personalized beauty experiences at an assigned beauty brand counter. This role combines sales, education, and customer service while supporting vendor relationships and maintaining a welcoming counter environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer reward accounts and build customer loyalty
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Experience working in a commissioned sales environment preferred
