The Beauty Counter Manager is a results oriented salesperson and educator responsible for maximizing sales for an assigned beauty brand through in person and digital customer interactions, makeup applications, skincare consultations, and vendor event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals.
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in store and digital selling tools including text and social media.
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results.
- Handle sales transactions including sales, refunds, and exchanges and open new rewards accounts.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer experience.
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep customer ready presentation.
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings.
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare.
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy and respect.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow through skills.
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology for selling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and perform physical duties including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
