Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager combines sales and teaching to create personalized beauty experiences and grow sales for the assigned brand. This role builds customer relationships in-store and digitally while sharing expertise in beauty products and trends.

Responsibilities

• Apply makeup, analyze skincare needs, and recommend products tailored to customer goals.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions and build strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain an organized, customer-ready department and support an inclusive team environment.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty and customer service, including makeup application and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in motion for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
