Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while driving sales and managing a luxury brand counter within the department store. This role combines customer service, makeup and skincare application, and sales leadership in a commissioned retail environment focused on both in-store and digital selling.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new customer accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain counter organization and cleanliness to keep department customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Provide customer follow-up and build customer loyalty
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including trends, makeup application, and skincare
