Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experience for an assigned beauty brand, providing makeup applications, skincare consultations and digital and in-store selling to achieve personal and counter sales goals. This role manages vendor events, maintains counter presentation and builds customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards and relationship selling. The manager works in a commissioned retail environment and stays current on beauty trends and brand training.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
• Handle sales transactions including sales, refunds and exchanges
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness and customer readiness
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive team environment
• Keep up with product knowledge and industry trends through training
