Beauty Counter Manager - Twelve Oaks Mall

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer service for an assigned luxury beauty brand at the Twelve Oaks Mall counter, creating personalized makeup and skincare experiences and building a customer following both in-store and digitally. This role balances selling and coaching, drives counter performance through goal setting and digital selling tools, and partners with brand vendors to execute events and promotions. The manager also maintains counter presentation and ensures a welcoming, inclusive environment for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customersbeauty goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and build vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
• Keep the beauty counter customer-ready through organization, cleanliness, and product knowledge

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and a drive to achieve sales goals using networking and technology
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and perform continuous movement with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• High level of ownership, accountability, initiative, and empathy during makeup and skincare applications
