The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for an assigned luxury beauty brand, combining hands-on selling with coaching and brand representation. This role focuses on driving counter sales, building customer relationships in-store and digitally, and managing vendor events and promotions. The manager ensures the counter is organized, customer-ready, and aligned with current beauty trends and brand training.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new rewards accounts
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment and collaborate with team members
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Use networking and technology to build and maintain a customer following

- Passion for beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
