Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury retail setting by conducting makeup applications and skincare consultations, driving both in-store and digital sales, and maintaining a welcoming customer-ready department. Engage customers to understand their needs and build loyalty through product recommendations and appointment bookings. Work collaboratively with team members and stay current on beauty trends and brand knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products
• Engage customers to build relationships and drive sales both in-store and digitally
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Use text and social media to support selling and grow customer following
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Maintain organization and cleanliness to keep the department customer-ready
• Participate in trainings provided by the employer and brand partners
• Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Capacity for continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
