Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and makeup applications in a luxury department setting, driving sales for on-trend and prestige beauty brands. Build customer relationships both in-store and through digital channels while maintaining a welcoming and organized beauty area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
• Engage customers to understand needs and drive sales in-store and digitally
• Book appointments and promote in-store beauty events and services
• Use selling tools including text and social media to grow customer following
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
• Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment
• Stay current with beauty trends and product knowledge through training

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
• Ability to connect with customers and handle concerns with empathy
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
