Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Engage customers to understand needs and build a loyal clientele both in-store and digitally
- Set and achieve sales goals and participate in performance based incentives
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions including refunds exchanges and new rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Keep the beauty department organized clean and customer ready
- Use text and social media as selling tools to grow sales and customer following
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including trends makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills with empathy and respect for all customers
- Strong multitasking organization and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Comfort with continuous movement for 6-8 hours and frequent bending reaching and lifting
- Ability to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
