Beauty Sales - Fashion Valley

Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and sales in a high-end department environment, focusing on luxury fragrance and skincare. Deliver makeup applications and product recommendations while building customer relationships both in-store and through digital channels. Drive sales goals and support beauty events and services at the Fashion Valley location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
• Engage customers to build loyalty and grow a personal client following in-store and digitally
• Set and achieve individual and department sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and product presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Strong customer service skills with empathy and the ability to connect with diverse customers
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to meet sales goals and comfort using digital selling tools and social media
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
