Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences in-store by conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommending products to meet customers beauty goals while driving in-store and digital sales. Maintain a welcoming, organized department, support events and appointments, and stay current on beauty trends and brand knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations for customers
- Recommend and sell on trend and luxury beauty products to meet sales goals
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Use digital tools including text and social media to support selling and build a customer following
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Participate in trainings to stay current on products and industry knowledge
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and communication skills
- Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and respect
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lifting up to 25 pounds
