Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences focusing on men's fragrances within a department store setting, engaging customers in-store and digitally to drive sales and build customer loyalty. Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations when relevant and maintain a customer-ready department through organization and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to understand their needs and recommend fragrance and beauty products
- Conduct product demonstrations, makeup applications and skincare analyses as needed
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds and exchanges and assist customers with rewards program enrollment
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Keep the department organized, clean and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, fragrance, makeup and skincare
- Excellent customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
- Strong multitasking, organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to meet sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Comfort with continuous movement and physical tasks for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds regularly
- Empathy and respect for customers during personal services
